What We Believe

We Believe That the scriptures are verbally inspired by God, are inerrant, and that they are the final authority in faith and practice.

We Believe in one God, creator of all, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in God the Father, and infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love.

We Believe that Jesus Christ is the true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died in the cross, was buried, and rose from the grave on the third day and ascended into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest.

We Believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict men; regenerate, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly living and service.

We Believe that man was created in the image of God; that all men have sinned and are lost apart from the grace of God. Salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God and was purchased by Christ on the cross, and is received by man through faith, apart from human merits, works, or ritual. Those who have believed may follow the Lord through the water baptism and the partaking in the Lord’s Supper.

We Believe in the personal, pretribulational, premillennial and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and that the “Blessed Hope” has a vital bearing in the personal life and service of the believer.

We Believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; the everlasting blessedness of the saved in glory; and the everlasting, conscience punishment of the lost.
